Ilona and Ray
Hello everyone,
I can say that our meeting was fate because it was very sudden and, as you know, the happiest moments happen to us when it is completely by chance.
Ray wrote to tell me that he was already in Kiev and offered to meet. Before that, we had exchanged a couple of sentences but now Ray was very determined. Since I had posted my profile not only in order to communicate on the Internet but also to meet in real life, I agreed because I believe that nothing can replace live communication.
My agency contacted me and said that Ray had made a request for a meeting and confirmed it would be at 14:00 on October 12 and that they would provide me with an interpreter since I did not speak English well at that time although now I continue to study English.
We met and went to a quiet, cozy place because I wanted us to have the opportunity to talk calmly. I really liked Ray because he was gallant and very well-mannered, manners like his are possessed by real gentlemen. Ray presented me with a gorgeous bouquet of roses which was very nice. We told each other about our families and life in general, laughed, and joked a lot.
Then we went for a walk around Kiev at night and I told Ray about the sights and history of the city, as I know it very well.
Our meeting had a wonderful atmosphere so we decided to meet again the next day to have a meal and then just go for a walk around the city because it was beautiful warm autumn weather. We met in a restaurant on the banks of the Dnieper river, drank wine, ate, and, as always, joked a lot. I liked spending time with Ray, it was very easy and interesting to be with him, and, most importantly, he had a great sense of humor. That day he ordered a tomahawk steak and we all laughed about how huge it was. Ray said that he likes very much to cook on a barbecue and we even thought about how we could go somewhere and cook meat over a fire. The translator also helped us a lot, it was easy for me to open up and there was a feeling that Ray and I were spending time just together.
Then we decided to go for a walk in Mezhyhirya as it is very beautiful there. Ray really liked it but in the end, we walked for so long that it was already dark and we got a little lost. We did not notice how quickly time passed. When we got to the first bench, we sat very together in an embrace, tired but happy. The next day we met again, we had breakfast and walked together. These were wonderful days and I still remember them with warmth. When Ray went home, it was sad because our days together had been like a little fairy tale filled with fun, warmth, and his gentlemanly care and attention.
After this, we continued to communicate and we remain in a warm relationship.
